:Formation and History of Training Institute:

            In order to implement the announcement point number 239.0.0 made by the Hon'ble Chief Minister in the year 2013-14, a new Police Training School was established in Bharatpur district. In this sequence, 185 posts were sanctioned by the state government for new training centers on 12.08.2013.

            This training center was started on 27.10.2014 at Kayamvila, the headquarters of 7th RAC located in Bharatpur city. The first batch started with the training of a total of 235 recruits from Jaisalmer and Sirohi districts. A total of 8.24 hectares of land located at Bansi Khurd was allotted to Police Training Center Bharatpur in place of 7th Battalion RAC Headquarters Bharatpur in revenue records by District Collector Bharatpur by issuing order on 05.11.2014. According to the instructions of Mr. Additional Director General of Police (Training) Raj, Jaipur, this Police Training School was shifted from Kayamvila Bharatpur on 12.04.2015 to the premises located at Headquarters Bansikhurd Bharatpur, which is currently being operated at this place. Police Training School Bharatpur has been temporarily established in the land premises located at Bansikhurd.           

            The said land and administrative buildings, barricades and quarters are not sufficient as per the norms of BPR&D. Whereas for the organized campus of PTS to function at full capacity, about 35.54 hectares of land is required. The process for searching land for campus is ongoing.
