Police Training School, Jodhpur was established in the year 1975 under the reorganization plan. This training institute is located at Shri Jeevan Singh Ji's Bagh, Mandore Road, Jodhpur. Earlier this institute was located in Police Line, Jodhpur and was shifted from Police Line to this campus in the year 1983 as per the instructions of the then Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Jaipur. Earlier, the land and building of this institute was owned by the Medical Department's "Mental Hospital", which was purchased by the Police Department for Rs.15,45,889/- from the Medical Department, which was occupied by Mr. Khemchand Tejwani, then Commandant, P.T.S., Jodhpur received on 06.09.1980.
