The IT cell was established in the Intelligence Training Academy in the year 2017 and its training was commenced for the trainees. Initially only DOS was taught to the police officers by private faculties. Today Intelligence Training Academy IT cell have one computer lab which have been provided 20 internet connected computers. Lab contains audio visual systems. All academy campus are connected with LAN. Except above Intelligence Training Academy established a modern Lab to train Police officers of the state.
The staff in IT cell is professionally and technically trained includes 1 Head Constable and 1 Computer trained constable. The syllabus for Constable (Recruits), S.I.(P) in basic training includes the introduction of computer, MS Office, Internet, SIMS, Social Media Investigation etc. The computer training for in service courses for ministerial staff and other police personnel is conducted during the refresher courses at the academy. The aim of IT cell at Intelligence Training Academy is to make Rajasthan Police personnel computer literate.
