Rajasthan Police Academy is provided with a PHC for treatment of trainees, staff and the family members. The PHC is located on the far eastern boundary of the academy adjoining Durga Ma Temple. It is located very close to Rajasthan Police Academy’s residential area. The PHC is equipped with twelve beds indoor facility, an OPD, section stores, laboratory, wards, operation theatre etc. The building of the PHC contains outdoor wing , indoor wing, radiology, biochemical laboratory, operation theatre, dressing room and injection room.

Posted medical officers and supporting staff:

Dr. Lokesh Chaturvedi is posted as medical officer of the academy PHC. Sh. Vijay Singh, Male nurse, Ms Sharda Rao, Staff Nurse, Sh. Suresh Chand Tanwar, Lab assistant, Ms. Suman Jangid, ANM, Ms. Rameshwari, Ward maid, Ms. Badam, Ward maid, Ms. Krishna, Ward maid are the supporting staff posted in the PHC.

Routine duties of hospital:

The academy PHC is working in two shift. The morning shift - 8 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift – 4 pm to 5:30 pm. The PHC extends medical facilities to the trainees, staff of the academy and their family members. Serious cases are as per rules referred to Kawatiya Hospital, which is just 1 km far from Rajasthan Police Academy Hospital.All police trainees undergoing training at Rajasthan Police Academy go through medical tests as per academy rules. Since Rajasthan Police Academy is premier training institute of India, large number of VIPs, high dignitaries, Police officers and bureaucrats visit this academy to attend different official functions and courses. They are extended emergency medical services during need. The hospital implements all National Health Programs which include AIDs, Population control, Polio Health and family welfare programmes etc.
